Are you a Barrier Breaker?
Who is a Barrier Breaker
A Barrier Breaker is one who has or will not let society, culture, family, friends and themselves etc stop them from doing the right thing, stepping out on faith or beating the odds. One who is scared of doing something but does it anyway.
There is more on the other side of breaking that barrier than staying in your comfort zone. I believe there are lives connected or dependent on you that if you do not break that cycle or barrier you will be letting them down.
First of all you are letting yourself down by not following your dreams, following your calling etc. They say “the graveyard is the richest place on earth because its full of people that had unfulfilled dreams”. For me I am determined to die empty. I have dreams and visions, stuff I want to do and stuff that God has shown me. I am scared but this time I am ready.
I read something the other day on IG and it said “Let me ask you something. If someone prays for patience, do you think God gives them patience? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does He give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does He give opportunities to love each other?”
We are presented with opportunities everyday and it’s up to us to take those opportunities and as scared as we may be, take a minute and speak to yourself. Say Self (In Sarah Jakes Roberts voice) You are good, you are bold, you are strong, you’re amazing, you can do this, in fact you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you and no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper. Yeaaaaa…. The Bible states that life and death are in the power of the tongue and Faith without works is Dead.
So as a Barrier Breaker until you take that step of faith out of your comfort zone, I don’t think you can break any barrier.
I believe a Barrier Breaker is one with a Dream, a Vision, a Goal, a Plan of Action, Faith and Works meaning they are ready to take action and do the work that will cause them to Break that Barrier.
Do not settle, or you’ll be stuck, going round in circles instead of moving forward. Get up and go to School, Get up and apply for that job, Get up and go master that skill, Get up and forgive that person, Get up and make that call, Get up and make that change or be the Change, Get up and speak to yourself, Get up and start that business, Get up and leave that abusive relationship or marriage, Get up and Break that Barrier, I Believe you can, Believe in yourself too.
Arise, Shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you (Isaiah 60:1).
IT’s TIME TO BREAK BARRIERS!!!
