DAY AND NIGHT by JUBILEE WORSHIP

There are times that a song ministers to me for a week or more and I keep it on replay for as long as its ministering to me. I mean non-stop even when I’m going to bed. So recently I have decided to delve into the Word of God and search the scriptures to understand what I am singing and also to know what God may be telling me in that season. In the month of September 2019, This was the song ministering to me – Day & Night by Jubilee Worship and the scriptures I looked into are below.

This was a time where I felt the need to just worship God, not ask for anything. Just to reverence Him, bow at His feet and hear Him speak. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords there is no one that can be compared to our God. He is a Holy God.

Isaiah 43:15 – I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.

1 Peter 1:16 – You shall be holy, for I am holy.

Isaiah 57:15 – For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the heart of the contrite.”

Revelation 4:8 – And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes around and within, and day and night they never cease to say, “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”

Exodus 15:11 – Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you,majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds doing wonders?

Psalm 77:13 – Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God?

Revelation 5: 8-14 – And when he had taken the scroll the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, 

“Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth”.

 Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders, the voices of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing?!” 

And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” And the four living creatures said, “Amen! And the elders fell down and worshiped.

Revelation 5:5 – And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals”.
