BarrierBreak is glad to announce the launch of “Learning @BarrierBreak” – Online learning platform offering training courses on accessibility and assistive technology in India and globally marking the 6th Global Accessibility Awareness Day (#GAAD).
BarrierBreak has been offering in person training courses for long and with the recent level of increased interest in the area of accessibility and inclusion, the online training courses will allow us to reach out to more audiences and create better awareness.
“When it comes to creating awareness about accessibility, its always great to reach out to more people than just a handful in a closed room and so the idea of online learning. We are enthusiastic to launch Learning @BarrierBreak and roll out two free courses ‘Understanding Disability’ and ‘Making Word Documents Accessible’ marking this Global Accessibility Awareness Day. The website is currently in beta stage and we encourage you to try them out and send us your suggestions to help us make it better,” stated Shilpi Kapoor, Founder BarrierBreak.
Learning @BarrierBreak is targeted at Developers, Designers, Diversity and Inclusion Professionals, CSR, Special Educators and anyone who would like to learn new concepts or learn new skills in the fast-growing accessibility industry.
The online learning platform would be regularly introducing new courses that would equip the learner with the understanding and expertise that would assist in growing professionally regardless of the learners knowledge level and experience in accessibility and assistive technology.
