Welcome to the next big thing – #CovidAccessibilityBugBounty

Time to put your accessibility testing skills to test - Bug Bounty

Marking Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), BarrierBreak is launching #CovidAccessibilityBugBounty with the aim to have the community identify bugs on Covid related websites and apps in their region and share it online.

What?

Globally, most Covid-19 & Vaccine Information websites & mobile apps are inaccessible!

Why?

People with disabilities are being excluded in a time where access to information about the pandemic, treatments, vaccination information is critical!

How?

Let’s spend 30 minutes on 20 May, 2021 and crowd source accessibility bugs on websites in your region and push for change!

  1. Go to a Covid-19 information website or mobile app in your country or local area disseminating information.
  2. Conduct an Accessibility Test.
  3. Submit a bug.

We would appreciate your help in spreading the word about the campaign and to reach as many organizations and people interested in crowd sourcing accessibility bugs on Covid websites and apps in their region and push for change!

#CovidAccessibilityBugBounty Campaign starts 20 May!
